Project Harley

Property: Victorian Detached Home, East Belfast

Service: Kitchen/living Remodel

We were employed by the owner of this elegant period home to rejuvenate the existing kitchen and snug corner. In Project Harley (so named after our client’s adorable pup!), we refreshed the kitchen by replacing the dated handles and knobs with beautiful bronze hardware from Corston and having the classic cabinetry repainted in warm and restful tones. This colour palette, inspired by a library wallpaper mural within the dining nook, was continued into the snug area, where we painted the fireplace wall a deep shade of green to help blur the inevitable TV screen and bring the focus elsewhere. The furnishings were replaced with a pair of traditionally styled sofas, matching chests and lighting from Pooky. The existing footstool and monk’s bench seat were reupholstered in complementary fabrics, bringing in a hint of pink and some pattern to the room.
