Hello & Welcome!
About Us
Dekkobird Design is a small interior design studio and consultancy based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Our Story:
‘Dekkobird’ was originally established as an interiors blog whilst its founder, Keira, was studying for a diploma in interior design at KLC. The blog was an outlet for Keira to share her belief that beautiful interiors needn’t cost the earth. Dekkobird Design was established in 2017 and our mission to provide beautiful and functional interior design that is affordable and accessible, remains at the core of the business today.
What we do:
As well as providing our interior design service, we offer in-person or online interior consultancy. It’s a great way to receive professional advice and guidance on an interior design aspect you’re struggling with or when embarking on a smaller scale project, such as room update.
We love to mix Scandinavian, modern and mid-century design to create home interiors that are cosy, characterful and stylish spaces to live in. Whether you’re a family, couple or solo dweller, we tailor your space to your unique personality and lifestyle, helping you create a home that is a joy to live in. We design beautiful spaces to elevate your everyday living.
Why work with us:
At Dekkobird Design, we save you time and money by providing you with clear design direction from the start, preventing costly bad decisions and taking away the stress often associated with endless decision making during renovation and redecoration work. As a small studio, we pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable, so that our clients feel completely comfortable and confident working with us.
Keira is honoured to be an associate member of the prestigious British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and Dekkobird Design has been awarded ‘Best of Houzz Service’ on a number of occasions.
You can also connect with Keira / Dekkobird Design over on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook – these are all exciting platforms where we love to share behind-the-scenes work, project progress shots, along with styling tips and inspiration from Keira’s own home and garden.
